Service Description
Come and enjoy a pop-up choir experience featuring an a cappella arrangement of 'Walking On Sunshine', by Katrina and the Waves. The version we will be singing is arranged for SATB by Gitika Partington. No band and no backing track - it's all about the voices! If you relish the thought of delving into some gorgeous harmonies, this is an event for you. It is recommended singers have some experience of harmony singing for this pop-up choir event. This event is designed with adults in mind, however secondary school aged singers with a keen interest in singing, and harmony singing experience are also welcome. People aged 16 and younger MUST be accompanied by a participating adult. Just Sing Something's Pop-Up Choir events provide an opportunity to get stuck into one great song, and sing it until we're proud. All singing will be taught to you at the event. There is no performance pressure, however you are welcome to record our final rendition on your device to take home and enjoy. Online bookings are essential to receive email updates as required, and inform our preparations. This includes provision of a hard copy of the music to be provided on arrival, and returned at the end of the session. Bookings close on Wednesday 2nd September. Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is received fewer than seven calendar days before the start date, no refund is possible due to costs incurred (ie: Events scheduled for a Tuesday must be cancelled by 11.59pm on the Monday, eight days before). Where a Singing Sandwich Project Season Pass or Multi-Week Choir Series are purchased, no refunds for individual sessions missed are possible. Bookings cancelled seven or more days before the event date will receive a credit coupon for the amount paid, less the deductions made by your credit card provider (approximately $2 depending on your card type). The code attached to the credit note will be emailed to the address given when making the booking. This code can be used when booking a future event, and is valid for a single use for up to 12 months. NB: the credit coupon you receive is viable for events being directly managed by Just Sing Something, but not external bodies who engage Just Sing Something privately to offer events. If 'Just Sing Something' cancels the event at any time, bookings will be refunded in full. No credit coupon will be provided for "no shows" without notification as a place is being held for you.
