Which Events Are Right For Me?
Just Sing Something provides a range of group singing experiences.
Here is an overview as you consider which event-types might suit you.

Relaxed & Uncomplicated
No Singing Experience Required
Events in this category include The Singing Sandwich Project and Singalongs. Past gatherings have included a 'Queen' singalong, Sister's Sing-Up for International Women's Day, and 'A Hard Days' Night' cinema screening when we sang our way through the Beatles movie at Hoyts Eastland.
Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to join these events (from shower-singers to on-stage pros!)

Dip-A-Toe-In
All Experience Levels Welcome
Events in this category include most Pop-Up Choir nights, and occasional weekend workshops. Pop-Ups are great for those who have never sung in a harmony setting, but would like to try. At Pop-Ups we enjoy learning one big song in two hours, and record our final results to take home.

Some people attend a Pop-Up to decide if they're up for the more challenging and fast-paced choir series. Others come for a stand-alone choir experience without the need to perform, or commit for multiple rehearsals.
People with ALL levels of experience, from beginners to established singers, are welcome at 'dip-a-toe' events.

Harmony-Singing Experience
If you're looking for a fresh singing challenge, Just Sing Something Choir Series' could be for you.

Choir Series appeal to time-poor adults looking for a choir opportunity, with short-term commitment (6 weeks).

Each Choir Series is a stand-alone course, focusing on a theme. Singers are extended and challenged within a positive and encouraging rehearsal environment. We move apace making significant progress at each rehearsal, which is why previous experience is important. All singers must be willing to perform at our combined choirs concert, performing our own repertoire, and combined choir numbers.

From time-to-time Pop_Up choir nights are also offered for adults with harmony singing experience.

Established Singers
Occasionally opportunities emerge for those with harmony singing experience who have sung in many Just Sing Something choir series' and Pop-Up Choir events. In 2026, established singers are invited to join the Just Sing Something touring choir who will travel to the Festival Of Voices in Tasmania in July.
